Conducted Nokia N810 usability and interface research carried out through workshops with children from differing economic strata. Interface, product-accessibility, product-design, applications and hardware limitations were examined through paper-prototyping and hands-on interaction with the device itself. The results were presented to Nokia, and were evaluated for the next generation hand-held (N900).
The workshops also generated insights into the functionality of Scratch on the N810 device. Scratch was tested for scalability of interface, speed, audio, multi-lingual facilities, external sensors, touch-screen capabilities and compatibility with the non-portable (desktop) version of Scratch.
